About us

Why I Started Hoststoast.com
Hi, I’m Phil—founder of Hoststoast.com and a fellow short-term rental host.
I started Hoststoast.com because, like you, I wanted to make my hosting experience easier, more profitable, and (let’s be honest) a lot less stressful. Along the way, I discovered how powerful AI and automation tools could be for property owners—but I also saw how confusing and intimidating all that “tech talk” can get.
That’s why I created Hoststoast.com:
A place where hosts of all experience levels can learn simple, practical ways to save time, grow their bookings, and create great guest experiences—without feeling overwhelmed by technology.
Here’s what you’ll find here:
- Easy-to-follow guides and tutorials: Everything is written in plain English, with screenshots and real-world examples.
- A step-by-step AI course: No jargon. Just practical lessons you can put to work right away.
- Real advice from a real host: I share what works, what doesn’t, and all the little tricks I’ve learned running my own rentals.Real advice from a real host: I share what works, what doesn’t, and all the little tricks I’ve learned running my own rentals.
- A bit of fun along the way: Because learning should never feel like a chore!
If you have questions, want to share your own hosting story, or just want to say hello,
Let’s make hosting easy—and maybe even a little bit fun—together!

Our Mission
